Subject matter and purpose of the agreement

This agreement governs the use of the so-called lifting-beams by the User for the purpose of safely lifting machine tools within the company. By using the lifting-beams, the User agrees to this agreement.

Lifting-beams are special devices that are inserted into designated openings on machine tools to enable safe lifting, using lifting equipment (e.g. hydraulic jacks).
 

Terms of use

• The User agrees to use the lifting-beams exclusively for their intended purpose and in accordance with the operating instructions.
• Use is permitted only after prior familiarization with the operating instructions.
• Only suitable and tested lifting equipment may be used in combination with the lifting-beams.
• Before use, the condition of the lifting-beams and the machine mounts must be visually inspected.
• In case of damage or doubt regarding their suitability for use, use must be discontinued immediately and noted to Vollmer.
   

Safety and liability

• The User agrees to comply with all applicable accident prevention regulations, internal safety guidelines, and the operating instructions for the machine tools used.

• Vollmer is not liable for damages resulting from the User's failure to comply with this agreement, in particular with the safety regulations in the operating instructions.

   

   

   

Training and Instruction 

By using the lifting-beams, the User confirms, that they have read and understood the operating instructions in full. 

Duration of use

The lifting-beam must be returned to Vollmer no later than 3 days after the machine tool is put into operation (Incoterm 2020® DAP Biberach). Vollmer must be notified of the return shipment in advance. 

A rental fee of €75.00 will be charged for each additional calendar day of late return. 

Damage

If damage or alterations are discovered after the use of the lifting-beam, the User shall bear the resulting costs for repair or replacement.
